Forensics and Special Investigative Skills Branch
Up one levelThe mission of the Forensics and Special Investigative Skills Branch (FSI) is to provide training to the agents and officers in the day-to-day, hands-on, technical aspects of law enforcement by providing them with contemporary, scientific and technological skills necessary to perform their respective law enforcement functions. Courses instructed by FSI include Crime Scene Investigations, Crime Scene Preservation, Identity Documents, Crimes Against Persons, Fingerprints, Drugs of Abuse and Clandestine Labs.
FSI also offers a number of advanced or specialized programs. These programs encompass Archeological Resources Protection, Wildland Fire Origin, and Cause Determination.
