Short Courses in Genetics and Genomics

Program Description

The objective of this program is to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of a training course on application of genomics and proteomics to cardiovascular, pulmonary, hematologic, and sleep disorders. The course would provide investigators with an opportunity to learn about the genomic and proteomic resources and technologies that can be applied to the study of diseases of interest to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood. The ultimate goal is to increase the number of researchers who have both knowledge of and skills in applying genomic and proteomic approaches to their ongoing studies

The NHLBI Program Officer for the Short Courses is Deborah Applebaum-Bowden, Ph.D.
