The Greenbooks
, developed by Clinical Microsystems (part of the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice), are comprehensive guides to help you assess and improve your medical practice. Use these guides to diagnose the five P’s of your practice: purpose, patients, professionals, processes, and patterns. Use the improvement strategies to improve the quality and value of patient care as well as the work life of all staff who contribute to patient care. The Greenbooks’ tools and methods can be adapted by busy clinical teams in a wide variety of settings, large and small, urban and rural.
