Meeting Locations

Looking for a good place to host a coin club meeting or coin-related event?  Have you tried these options?  Remember that any location used must be accessible for all people who may want to attend your meetings or events.

Your local school system—Some schools allow groups to meet in their auditoriums, libraries, all-purpose rooms, and sometimes even on their athletic fields during non-school hours.

School building

Community group facilities—(For example, Elks, Kiwanas, Knights of Columbus, YMCA/YWCA, etc.)  Check to see if the buildings owned by these community groups have rooms that are large enough for hosting events.

State/county operated facilities—This type of facility may offer accessible meeting spaces for both large and small events.

Your local libraries—See if you can book a meeting room on a regular basis (weekly or monthly) so that people will always know where they can find a coin club meeting.

Coffee shops or other dining establishments—Sometimes a coffee shop or similar dining establishment may agree to reserve an area of their facility if they know that a group will be meeting there on a regular basis.
