Population Studies

NHLBI-funded observational studies collect data on factors associated with the development of overweight and obesity as well as their the relation of overweight and obesity to heart disease and its risk factors, pulmonary diseases, and sleep disorders. The studies listed and briefly described below were initiated by NHLBI. The NHLBI also supports investigator-initiated observational studies funded through grants.
