Success Stories: Harold

HaroldHarold, an active 7-year-old, does many types of physical activities. During physical education class, he jumps rope, does gymnastics and sit-ups. During recess, he plays on the playground, runs and climbs. Harold also likes to play soccer, tag, and ride his bike with friends and family.

Here is what a week in Harold's active life looks like. Notice that his schedule includes at least 60 minutes of activity each day, with vigorous aerobic activity on four days of the week. He also gets four days of muscle strengthening and four days of bone strengthening throughout the week.
