As with desktop websites, a cohesive and recognizable identity is a valuable asset for mobile websites and apps. It also helps connect the mobile websites and apps with the organization’s digital channels so that users have a more unified user experience. This section outlines the visual standards for NCI mobile websites and apps. It does not provide guidance on how to create sites or apps (for that, see Howto.gov for more information). Also, while the examples provided feature Apple’s iPhone platform, the standards are applicable to developing products for any mobile platform.
