HHS and DOJ Officials to Highlight New Provisions in Affordable Care Act to Fight Health Care Fraud

Officials Will Release New Report on Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Efforts

WASHINGTON – U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Attorney General Eric Holder will discuss the Obama Administration’s efforts to fight fraud using new tools provided by the Affordable Care Act at a press conference on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. EDT.   HHS and DOJ officials will also release a new report on fraud prevention and enforcement efforts.  Remarks will be followed by a brief question and answer segment.
