Here are the steps for using Home Health Compare:
Step 1: Enter a Location: You must first enter a location by ZIP Code or City, State. In addition to the location, you have the option of entering the name of a specific home health agency (or partial name).
Step 2: Choose Home Health Agencies to Compare: After clicking the ‘Show Agencies’ button, you will be directed to the Home Health Compare Results page. This page lists home health agencies based on the search criteria you entered on the home page. Agencies are listed with their phone numbers and whether or not they offer the following services: Nursing Care, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Services, and Home Health Aide Services.
Select the home health agencies you would like to compare (maximum of 3).
Once you have made your selection(s) click the 'Compare Now' button to proceed.
Step 3: Compare Home Health Agencies: This page will provide you with different types of information, like certain measures of home health quality that you can use to compare the home health agencies. The agencies you selected to compare will appear as column headers on this page.
Step 4: View Home Health Agency Profile: If you would like to view detailed information about one home health agency, click on the home health agency name on either the results or the compare page and you will be directed to that particular home health agency’s profile page.
Changing the Font Size
If you want to view the Home Health Compare in a larger font, click on the ‘AAA' link located in the upper right corner of your screen. To return to the normal font size, click on the ‘AAA’ link again.
