Accessioned were more than 2,300 National Wetlands Map Overlays (map information photo duplication on a transparent polyester base) containing topographic information pertaining to the National Wetlands, 1978 - 2000. The 1:24,000 (7.5-minute) maps cover approximately 75 percent of the coterminous United States and Hawaii, and 24 percent of Alaska. Materials open and processed. Received were 127 video recordings documenting the deliberations, discussions, and meetings of the Space Station Control (Change) Board regarding the planning, design, redesign, and costs of the NASA "Space Station Freedom" project, 1991 - 93. Accessioned from the Voice of America were over 21,000 sound recordings of radio broadcasts in the VOA radio program series, "Music USA," "House of Sounds," and "Music With Friends," as written, produced and hosted by jazz historian, Willis Conover, 1959 - 96. The recordings document Conover's 40-year career with VOA and his impact on the dissemination of the unique American jazz music idiom to foreign audiences, especially to Russia and the Eastern Bloc countries during the Cold War years. Included are master program tapes as broadcast, production tapes, sub masters, and raw interview tapes used in the preparation of the edited programs. Materials partially opened and processed. Only materials more than 12 years old from date of production may be duplicated. Additional copyrights in the music and lyrics may also require clearance prior to use. Accession NN3-306-01-002.

This series of maps records information on two naval petroleum reserves, 1924 - 30: one in northwestern Alaska (1930) at Barrow Point (1 map), and the others in Natrona County, Wyoming, in the Teapot Dome Field. The maps for Teapot Dome cover both the land surface and subsurface data. There are also production data sheets for the Mammoth Oil Company for 1924. There are a total of 44 items, and all but one map relates to the Teapot Dome Field. Materials open and processed. Accession NN3-434-90-004.
