Note: Beginning with the “advance” estimate for the second quarter of 2012, the following changes have been made to the presentation of the key source data and assumptions for “advance” estimates:
- The presentation of the components of personal consumption expenditures for services has been updated to reflect the incorporation of Census quarterly services survey data into the estimates of household consumption expenditures for commercial and vocational schools.
- The descriptions of the source data for residential brokers’ commissions on the sale of structures have been updated from single-family existing home sales and the average sales price of existing single-family homes to total existing home sales and the average sales price of all existing homes.
- A footnote discussing the preparation of the estimates of private fixed investment in aircraft has been added.
