Celebrate World Health Day on April 7th!

Action Ideas for World Health Day

Take action on World Health Day! If you’re not sure what you can do on World Health Day, the following are a few action ideas:

  • Post on Facebook and Twitter that April 7th is World Health Day and this year’s theme is “Good health adds life to years”, including a link to information about healthy aging;
  • Share the resources offered on the WHO website with your friends, colleagues and family to encourage them to celebrate World Health Day;
  • Organize an event in your community that honors the older people in the community and shows appreciation for the contributions that they make to the community.

Older adults support their communities and families in multiple ways. World Health Day offers an opportunity to celebrate their contributions and show appreciation for their work and dedication and promote healthy aging.
