Lamont Easter, Management Analyst

I wanted to work for an organization that offered a challenging work environment where I could use and build upon my technology skills and serve my country. I chose the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

I started in California and as my career progressed, I took advantage of the mobility offered by the BOP, choosing assignments in Kentucky and Washington, DC. In addition, the Federal Law Enforcement training I received allowed me to participate in other exciting and challenging activities, such as being a member of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT).

Now, I use my abilities to design cutting-edge IT systems for BOP facilities around the United States. For anybody who wants to have a wide range of career paths available to them, and work in a fun, diverse, and challenging environment, this is one great place to be!
