Blacks In Government 34th Annual National Training Program

Blacks In Government (BIG) will hold its 34th National Training Conference (NTC) from August 13 -16, 2012 in Detroit, Michigan. The theme of this year’s NTC is "Educate to Escalate-Reaching Your Education Potential Through BIG!"

This training is designed for Federal employees and workshops are closely aligned with OPM’s leadership competencies. The BIG National Training Conference qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. Chapter 41. The training is open to all Federal employees and will provide training and workshops in a variety of areas including Career Development, Cultural Diversity /Heritage, Communication Skills, EEO Institute, Financial Management, Health Awareness and Wellness, Information Technology, Management and Leadership, Personal Performance and Quality of Life, Human Resource Management, and Professional Skills.

Federal employees are invited to review additional conference information regarding registration, costs, and course descriptions at http://www.bignet.org.

Agencies are reminded that reporting of training is governed by 5 CFR 410.601.
