The Medicare Coverage Database (MCD) Overview and Quick Search page provides general information about the application, such as its intended purpose and the types of content that can be found here.

"QUICK SEARCH" Function: To perform a “Quick Search” for a Medicare Coverage Database (MCD) document, search by a Document ID or by selecting a Document Type and entering a geographic area/region, a keyword(s), and/or a CPT/HCPCS code(s) as needed.

'SEARCH BY ID' Button: This button will query the database and return a result based on the document ID that you entered.

'SEARCH BY TYPE' Button: This button will query the database and return results based on your search criteria.

'Back to Top' Link: The 'Back to Top' link anchors to the top of the page.
