Interns
The FBI’s Internship Program exposes a number of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students to the FBI to promote their future interest in the Bureau. Individuals with strong and diverse academic credentials, outstanding character, a high degree of motivation, and the ability to represent the FBI in a positive presence will be selected.

Professional Staff
The FBI employs professionals in various fields of expertise and offer career opportunities from intelligence analysts to cyber experts, from scientists to accountants, from translators to engineers, and from managers to human resource specialists.

Special Agents
FBI special agents work on investigative matters related to terrorism, foreign counterintelligence, public corruption, organized crime, and other federal violations. Aside from investigative work, special agents can also be members of specialized teams such as the Emergency Negotiation Team, the Evidence Response Team, and the Hostage Rescue Team. They can also become firearms instructors and bomb technicians.
