Over 300 Auditors, Investigators, Attorneys and Contracting Professionals Attend Fraud Prevention Conference |

June 17, 2009 – Over 320 auditors, investigators, attorneys, and acquisition and contracting personnel from more than 60 organizations recently attended a three-day fraud prevention and detection conference sponsored by the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General, the DoD Panel on Contracting Integrity, and the Defense Acquisition University.
The conference, titled “Fraud Prevention and Detection – Improving Accountability for Government Professionals,” was hosted by DAU at Ft. Belvoir, VA, June 1-3, 2009.
The keynote address was delivered by the Honorable Thomas M. Davis III, former Chairman of the House Committee on Government Reform, who was introduced by DoD Acting Inspector General Gordon Heddell. (more) |
