Educational Opportunities Through Other Organizations:

  • Graduate Student Awards for the Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Graduate Students
    In June 2011, 20 Nobel Laureates in Physiology or Medicine and 550 young researchers from around the world will meet at Lindau, Germany, for the Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Graduate Students, to exchange ideas, discuss projects and build international networks. Requires nomination.

  • National Coalition for Health Professional Education in Genetics (NCHPEG) [nchpeg.org]
    A national consortium dedicated to providing access to genetics information and promoting health professional education.

  • Genetics in Clinical Practice: A Team Approach [iml.dartmouth.edu]
    Offered by Dartmouth University's Interactive Media Laboratory, this downloadable course based on the "Virtual Practicum" model is intended for health care providers where knowledge of clinical genetics can positively affect outcomes. Note: This course is offered free by download with a high-speed internet connection. NHGRI does not endorse, encourage or require purchasing this product.
