Need a state tax exemption form?
Per OMB Circular A-123, federal travelers "...must provide a tax exemption certificate to lodging vendors, when applicable, to exclude state and local taxes from their hotel bills." GSA's SmartPay team maintains the most current state tax information, including any applicable forms.
The FY 2013 rates are now available.
In order to find FY 2012 and previous years' per diem rates, select the year you need from the drop-down box above the map of the United States and click directly on the state you need. Do not type anything additional in the the search box above the map, as it only returns the current fiscal year's rates.
