    Watch video Dr. Green welcomes H3Africa staff at a meeting for applicants to the H3Africa NIH Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA). Held in Nairobi, Kenya, the meeting presented information about the FOA and gave applicants an opportunity to discuss the FOA with NIH staff. H3Africa is a contemporary research approach to studying genomics and environmental determinants of common diseases to improve the health of African populations.

  • NIH Intramural Sequencing Center 10th Anniversary Symposium - October 16, 2007
    Watch videoThe NIH Intramural Sequencing Center (NISC), established in 1997, emphasizes the generation and analysis of DNA sequence. For NISC's 10th anniversary, the NHGRI held a one-day symposium at Masur Auditorium on the Bethesda campus of the National Institutes of Health. Genome Exploration by Large-Scale DNA Sequencing: Circa 2007 and Beyond featured research talks by international genomics leaders.
