State Resource Center

The purpose of the State Resource Center (SRC) is to centralize access to information about Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)-state relations in an easily accessible format. In addition, this section of the website will house access to Medicaid data and systems information to assist State Medicaid Agencies and researchers with their work related to the Medicaid and CHIP programs.

This is our initial launch of the site, with planned improvements in functionality, collaboration, and data availability over the coming months and years.

Medicaid State Technical Assistance Teams

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has staff teams ready to provide intensive, tailored help to states on day-to-day operations and new initiatives. MSTAT teams have expertise in Medicaid financing, eligibility, coverage, systems, administrative claiming, and waivers, as well as existing state-specific issues.

This area allows the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, along with state partners and researchers, to have a single point of entry to various data systems.

MAC Learning Collaboratives

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) established the Medicaid and CHIP Learning Collaboratives (MAC Collaboratives) to achieve high-performing state health coverage programs, a goal that requires a robust working relationship between federal and state partners.
