NDF-RT View in RxNav

The NDF-RT view in RxNav provides a graphical display of the National Drug File - Reference Terminology (NDF-RT) relating to the selected clinical drug or ingredient in RxNav. NDF-RT is produced by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration. NDF-RT is used for modeling drug characteristics including ingredients, chemical structure, dose form, physiologic effect, mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics and related diseases. NDF-RT is updated monthly. For more information about NDF-RT, click here.

The ten buttons on the left side of the view allow the user to select the type of graph or table to be displayed. The graphs display the entire hierarchy for the selected item type. Buttons on the top of the view allow for zooming and panning operations on the graph.
