The FBI is seeking information on a subject who allegedly robbed several banks in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. During these incidents, the subject passed a note to the teller demanding money. These robberies began on July 30, 2012 and have continued to the present.
The subject is described as having a gap between his teeth. He has worn disguises to include baseball hats, sunglasses, and full beards. Additionally, he has had both black and strawberry blond hair. The subject may be driving a tan or gray Hyundai Elantra, which is shown above. The vehicle is an older model with a rear spoiler and a broken passenger-side brake light.
The subject has been dubbed "The Ray-Bandit," which references the Ray Ban-style sunglasses he has worn during each of the robberies.
