The Directed Energy Professional Society sponsors various conferences throughout the year on the research and development
of directed energy devices.
Directed Energy Test and Evaluation Conference
August, annually. The conference examines directed energy technologies and weaponry. Experts discuss new ideas for testing
and evaluation.
International Law Enforcement Forum
Forums are held every 18 months. ILEF provides an opportunity for government and research agencies to discuss less-lethal
technologies.
NIJ Conference
Summer, annually. Brings together criminal justice scholars, policymakers and practitioners at the local, state and federal
levels to share the most recent findings from research and technology. Conference panels address less-lethal technologies
and their use in law enforcement.
