Division of Violence Prevention
Part of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which works to prevent injuries and deaths caused by violence.

Institute on Domestic Violence in the African American Community
The Institute works to raise awareness about the impact of violence on African American communities and sponsors many initiatives, conferences, and training sessions.

National Latino Alliance for the Elimination of Domestic Violence
The Alliance sponsors research, community education and development, and training and technical assistance within Latino communities.

Asian and Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence

Danger Assessment in Domestic Violence 

The challenge for those who encounter abused women is to identify those with the highest level of danger. For 25 years, the Danger Assessment has been used by law enforcement and health care professionals, and domestic violence advocates. On this site you can learn more about and download the Danger Assessment as well as register for online training.
