COPD: Learn More Breathe Better
Western Fun with a Kick of Lung
On August 26-28th, Country Conquers COPD traveled to Boise, Idaho to promote COPD awareness at the Western Idaho State Fair.
A Wild, Western Good Time

A group of people learning more about COPD at the Western Idaho State Fair.

With a variety of energetic stage acts from Eric Church to Kool and the Gang, wacky grounds activities such as the Ham Bone Racing Pigs and the Timberworks Lumberjack Show, a vibrant carnival and plenty of exhibits and contests, the Western Idaho State Fair was a wild, western time for all ages. Families came out to get a taste of the fun and educational experiences that the fair offered while taking some time to learn more about COPD at the Country Conquers COPD tent.

And a healthy dose of COPD information

Nearly 3,000 people stopped by the COPD booth to learn more about the signs and symptoms of COPD, as well as the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. Plus, more than 425 were able to take advantage of free spirometry testing being conducted onsite.

We send out our special thanks to the COPD Foundation, and members of the Idaho Respiratory Care Society, who helped make this event a success.
