The leaders broke ground in June on the historic project, which, when completed, will have the capacity to deliver clean running water to a potential future population of approximately 250,000. The Reno Diversion shown in the photo will be among the first of more than 2,300 structures to be replaced. Many of the irrigation features are more than 100 years old.
