Examination Bulletins
The Chief Examiner of FCA issues Examination Bulletins (Exam Bulletins) to provide guidance on the examination of FCS institutions. These bulletins generally are drafted in response to questions raised by examiners or FCS institutions on the application or interpretation of new laws, regulations, FCA Board Policy Statements, or accounting pronouncements.
FCA Exam Bulletins do not require FCA Board review and approval before distribution and may be effective for only a short time. They are regularly updated to address new risks and conditions, new FCS products and services, and changes in laws and regulations.
