La función del Centro de Veteranos Empresarios (CVE, por sus siglas en inglés) dentro de la Sociedad para la Prosperidad de la Comunidad (CPP, por sus siglas en inglés) es el proveer la ayuda y comunicación a veteranos y veteranos incapacitados interesados en obtener contratos con el gobierno federal o hacer negocios con los hospitales y centros locales del Departamento de Veteranos (VA, por sus siglas en inglés). Ofrecemos consejos y asesoramiento para veteranos interesados en iniciar pequeños negocios, o para veteranos poseedores de negocios propios y que están interesados en obtener contratos con el gobierno federal. U.S. Small Business Administration

• Special support through 68 Veterans Business Development Officers (VBDO) nationwide who help veteran entrepreneurs access the full range of SBA programs and partners.
• Funding for five Veterans Business Outreach Centers that provide outreach, training, counseling, mentoring and directed e-referrals to veterans owning or considering starting a small business.
• Planning, e-counseling and lending assistance for self-employed Reserve and National Guard members facing activation or deployment.
• Balancing Business and Deployment (Veteran’s Small Business Resources)
• NEW - The U.S. Small Business Administration's Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands District Office announces their new "Patriot Express" Loan Initiative, on June 13, 2007 at SBA's facilities in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico.

The Patriot Express is a comprehensive initiative that includes new and enhanced programs and services for veterans and members of the military community wanting to establish or expand small businesses. Eligible military community members include: veterans, service-disabled veterans, active-duty service members participating in the military's Transition Assistance Program, Reservists and National Guard members, current spouses of any of the above, and the widowed spouse of a service member or veteran who died during service or of a service-connected disability.
