Hundreds of millions of dollars circulate in casinos every day – much of it in $100 notes. As a result, the gaming industry and its employees play an important role in the fight against counterfeiting. The United States Secret Service works closely with the gaming industry to protect U.S. currency and businesses. Although less than 1/100th of one percent of the value of all U.S. currency in circulation is reported counterfeit, the increasing volume of currency passing through casinos raises the possibility of encountering a fake. Therefore, the U.S. government wants to be sure this industry is well-prepared for the new $100 note before it begins circulating.

UPDATE CASH-ACCEPTING EQUIPMENT TO ACCEPT THE NEW $100 NOTE
