Communicating the Laboratory's Messages
The Communications Office (CGA-CO)
- Promotes the Laboratory's accomplishments
- Protects and enhances the Lab's reputation by facilitating clear, concise, consistent, strategic, timely communication—internally and externally
- Works to ensure that messages are geared to recipients
- Encourages feedback from and dialogue with audiences and customers
- Provides and facilitates communications leadership for effective Lab management
The Communications Office offers a variety of services:
- Issue management and crisis communications
- Presentation and interview training
- Communications education, counseling, and planning
- Media relations, monitoring, and analysis
- Production of communications products, including the Daily NewsBulletin and Currents
- Supervision of the Lab’s Links daily e-mail roundup of news and information and the Readers' Forum
