You can fax or mail correspondence and forms to the TSP. Make sure you choose the right TSP mailing address for your forms or correspondence. Otherwise, the processing of your request may be delayed.

Court Orders and Legal Process Actions
Use this post office box if you are sending the TSP a court order or legal process, power of attorney, guardianship or conservatorship order, Exception to Spousal Requirements (Form TSP-16/TSP-U-16), Privacy Act request, tax levy, or associated correspondence. Also, if you are the recipient of a court-ordered payment, the forms sent to you with the decision letter (e.g., Spouse's Election of Payment Method (Form TSP-13-S-C/ U-13-S-C), W-4Ps, or the request to waive the waiting period) should be returned to this post office box. Inquiries regarding these actions should also be sent to this address.
Use this post office box if you are submitting a death benefit claim for a TSP account. This includes Form TSP-17/U-17, Information Relating to Deceased Participant, death certificates, or other documentation. If you are the recipient of a death benefit payment, the forms sent to you with the "Intent to Pay" letter (e.g., W-4Ps or the request to waive the waiting period) should be returned to this post office box. Inquiries regarding these actions should also be sent to this address.

Transfers or Rollovers of Funds to the TSP
Use this post office box if you are transferring or rolling over funds to the TSP. This includes Form TSP-60/U-60, Request for a Transfer Into the TSP, the associated check for the funds, and any additional documentation. Inquiries regarding these actions should also be sent to this address.
NOTE: Do not submit any withdrawal forms to these addresses. Instead, use the "TSP Forms and General Correspondence" address above.
