There are several pieces of information you will need to manage your beneficiary participant account easily and efficiently.

The “welcome letter” that you receive from the TSP will contain your 13-digit TSP beneficiary participant account number. You can also find your account number on your quarterly and annual participant statements. This account number will be the TSP’s primary means of identifying your account and cannot be changed. Use this number (or the customized user ID you choose) when accessing your account on the TSP website or the ThriftLine (the TSP’s automated telephone service), or when filling in TSP forms.

If you forget your account number, you can use the TSP website or the ThriftLine to request to have it mailed to you.
