Giving the gift of service

The LANL Volunteer Program encourages LANL employees and retirees to get involved by giving of their time, talent, and energy to community efforts.

The goal is to match employee interests with our communities' needs and goals by actively recruiting, retaining, recognizing, and rewarding volunteer service:

  • Recruit
Encouraging our employees and retirees to share their time and talent with local and regional nonprofit organizations, schools, and pueblos.
  • Retain
Providing exciting and new volunteer partnerships with Northern New Mexico nonprofit organizations to keep LANL volunteers engaged and energized.
  • Recognize and reward
Recognize the efforts of LANL volunteers at the annual Volunteer Recognition event. As part of its Community Commitment Plan, LANS recognizes the volunteer efforts of LANL employees and retirees.
