About the Challenge

For 60 years, NSF-supported Graduate Research Fellows have made outstanding contributions to science and engineering, and to our nation. To celebrate this anniversary, NSF is sponsoring the 2012 GRFP video contest. We are asking current fellows to show us how their research can shape the future--for them, as individuals, their fields of work, or even the world. Note to fellows: It's easy to enter, and there are cash prizes--added incentive for you to make the most of your multimedia talents!

Who: Current Graduate Research Fellows (GRFs).
What: A short video, not to exceed 90 seconds, that communicates how your NSFfunded research will help shape the future – for yourself, for your field or for
your world.
Where: Create your video and upload it to YouTube, then register for the contest and submit your entry using our convenient online platform, grf2012.skild.com.
When: Entries must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), Sept. 14, 2012.
Why: The Graduate Research Fellowship Program is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, but we’re even more excited by the future than the past. Tell us your story!
