Beginning March 19, 2012, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) began testing modified screening procedures for passengers aged 75 and older. Chicago O’Hare, Denver, Orlando and Portland will test the new procedures for older passengers that include reduced pat-downs and being able to leave on shoes. Passengers in wheelchairs and with medical devices will also receive reduced screening.
