NOTICE TO CONTRACTOR

This is a COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS for commercial items with the intent to award on a sole source basis to Central Admixture Pharmacy (CAPS), 18012 Cowan STE 250, Irvine, CA 92614-5841 due compliance with The Joint Commission USP Chapter 797 and because of quantity demands, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.

Solicitation/Synopsis prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number N00259-13-T-0016 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The closing date is October 22, 2012 @ 7:00a.m. Pacific Daylight Time. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-61.

The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsive and responsible offeror whose conforming response is determined to provide the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.

The following factors to be used to evaluate offers: Technical Capability, delivery and price.

Technical capability and delivery, when combined, are significant evaluation factors that will be used to arrive at a best value award decision. Contractors who do not meet the first 2 factors will not undergo a price evaluation.

The Government will only consider firm fixed-price quotations.
