ATTORNEY GENERAL STENEHJEM ISSUES CEASE AND DESIST ORDERS AGAINST THREE UNLICENSED CONTRACTORS
October 26, 2012
Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem today issued Cease & Desist Orders against three unlicensed contractors for violations of North Dakota’s consumer fraud laws. Alex Sweeney and Lou Cueto, doing business as Aqua Dry Restoration, Denis J. Lee, doing business as Ashley Home Exteriors, and Todd A. Copenhaver, doing business as KRC Steel Works LLC and KRC Steel Erectors, are all banned from conducting business in North Dakota.

CELL PHONE CALL SCAM RESURFACES

A phishing scam involving calls about possible disruptions to cellular telephone services is making the rounds again in North Dakota, warns Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.

ATTORNEY GENERAL SUES CONTRACTOR MICHAEL FREDERICK, DBA “FREDERICKS CONTRACTING LLC”
October 12, 2012
Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem today initiated a consumer fraud and contractor licensing lawsuit against Minot flood restoration contractor Michael Frederick, doing business as Fredericks Contracting LLC, for misrepresentations and engaging in contractor services without a North Dakota contractor’s license

CEASE AND DESIST ISSUED AGAINST ALL AMERICAN PAGES, INC.
October 10, 2012
Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem today issued a Cease & Desist Order against a business known as “All American Pages, Inc.,” and German Lebedev, individually, of Montreal, Canada for violations of North Dakota’s laws relating to fraudulent invoice solicitations.
