Electronic Reading Room

The Electronic Reading Room includes frequently requested records, major information systems, and staff manuals, created by the Office of Justice Programs on or after November 1, 1996.

Component Information

OJP processes and its components award and administer financial and technical assistance to state and local criminal justice agencies and organizations, as well as conduct research studies and statistical surveys in matters concerning the administration of criminal justice. OJP maintains records to monitor and manage these programs. In addition, OJP maintains files on civil rights compliance investigations relating to any grants awarded by its component agencies.
