Question: Can I download a tutorial to use on my computer?

Answer:

  • You cannot download the interactive health tutorials from MedlinePlus. With permission from the producer, NLM provides two sample tutorials, one in English and one in Spanish, for download at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/training/tutorialdownload.html.

  • You can print a Reference Summary of any tutorial by clicking on the "Print Module" button at the beginning of the tutorial. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the Reference Summary. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free at http://get.adobe.com/reader/.

  • The Patient Education Institute (PEI) holds the copyright for the interactive health tutorials. To request permission to use a tutorial, contact PEI at http://www.patient-education.com/contact.
