Contributors

Bob Bergin is a former Foreign Service Officer. He now studies and writes history of US intelligence and air operations in Southeast Asia during World War II.

Thomas G. Coffey is a CIA Directorate of Intelligence officer serving with the Center for the Study of Intelligence. He is a member of the Lessons Learned Program’s intelligence and policy initiative.

John Ehrman is a frequent contributor and winner of Studies in Intelligence Annual awards. He is an officer in the CIA’s Directorate of Intelligence.

Roger Z. George a former National Intelligence Officer currently teaching at the National Defense University. He is a regular reviewer of books for Studies and other journals.

Hayden Peake is the Curator of CIA’s Historical Intelligence Collection. He has served in the Directorates of Science and Technology and Operations in CIA.

Clint Watts and John E. Brennan are both former US Army officers. Watts also served as an FBI agent and worked in the West Point Center for Combating Terrorism. He is currently a consultant. Brennan is a past contributor to Studies and former member of the Lessons Learned Program of the Center for the Study of Intelligence. He is presently a member of the Initiatives Staff of the Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Integration.

Larry L. Watts is a former RAND consultant. He has been adviser to several Romanian government leaders. He is author of books on Romanian military and security affairs, including his most recent, With Friends Like These: The Soviet Bloc’s Clandestine War Against Romania (2010).
