On June 20, 2011, the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Department of the Treasury ("OFAC") amended the North Korea Sanctions Regulations, 31 C.F.R. part 510 (the "NKSR"), to implement Executive Order 13570 of April 18, 2011. OFAC also removed from 31 C.F.R. chapter V the Foreign Assets Control Regulations, 31 C.F.R. part 500 (the "FACR"), and the Regulations Prohibiting Transactions Involving the Shipment of Certain Merchandise between Foreign Countries (Transaction Control Regulations), 31 C.F.R. part 505 (the "TCR").
