The instructions to clear a browser's cache differ according to browser type and the type of system you're using. The following instructions will help you manually clear the cache browsers compatible with the TSP website.


Internet Explorer

 

Internet Explorer 6 (Windows)

  1. On the Internet Explorer 6 Tools menu, select Internet Options. The Internet Options box should open to the General tab.
  2. On the General tab, in the Temporary Internet Files section, click the Delete Files button. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.
  3. Click OK, and then click OK again.

Internet Explorer 7 (Windows)

  1. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. On the General tab, in the Browsing history section, click the Delete button. This will bring up the Delete Browsing History Box.
  3. Click the Delete Files button to delete Temporary Internet Files.
  4. Click the Delete Cookies button to delete Cookies.
  5. Click the Delete History button to delete your browsing history.
  6. After you click Delete, a box will appear asking you to confirm that you would like to delete the files. Click Yes for each one.
  7. Click Yes.
  8. Click Close.
  9. Click OK.

Internet Explorer 8 (Windows)

  1. Once your browser is open, click the Tools menu.
  2. Select Delete Browsing History.
  3. Select Temporary Internet Files.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. Once the files have been deleted, you can dismiss the Internet Options dialogue by clicking the Okay button.

Firefox

 

Firefox 2 (Windows)

  1. Click Tools, select Options.
  2. Click the Privacy icon.
  3. Click Clear Now under the Private Data section.
  4. Ensure that Cache is checked, and then click Clear Private Data Now.
  5. Click the OK button to return to browsing.

Firefox 2 (Mac)

  1. Click Firefox, select Preferences.
  2. Click the Privacy icon.
  3. Click Clear Now under the Private Data section.
  4. Click the red Close Window button to return to browsing.

Firefox 3 (Windows)

  1. Click Tools, select Clear Private Data.
  2. Check both Cache and Cookies.
  3. Click the Clear Private Data Now button.

Firefox 3 (Mac)

  1. Click Firefox, select Preferences.
  2. Click the Privacy icon.
  3. Click Clear Now under the Private Data section.
  4. Ensure that Cache is checked, and click Clear Private Data Now.
  5. Click the red Close Window button to return to browsing.

Safari

 

Safari 3.1 and 4 (Windows)

  1. In the Safari menu, go to Edit and select Empty Cache.

Safari 3.1 and 4 (Mac)

  1. In the Safari menu, click Empty Cache.

Google Chrome

 

Google Chrome 2 (Windows)

  1. Click Tools (the wrench icon).
  2. Select Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Check Empty the Cache and Delete Cookies.
  4. Select Everything from the drop down menu to the right of Clear Data from this Period.
  5. Click Clear Browsing Data.
