s

“This fellowship strengthened my goals for a career in public health and inspired me to make global health an even larger focus as I explore my career options. ”

This fellowship provides third- and fourth-year medical and veterinary students with valuable public health experience in an international setting. The main focus of the fellowship is a 6- to 12-week field assignment. Fellows are mentored by experienced CDC staff and learn through hands-on experience while working on a public health project in a developing country.

The CDC-Hubert Global Health Fellowship is made possible by the joint efforts of the CDC Foundation and CDC with an endowment established by the O.C. Hubert Charitable Trust.
