The National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA) represents the broad spectrum of family planning administrators and clinicians serving the nation's low-income and uninsured. NFPRHA serves its members by providing advocacy, education and training to those in the family planning and reproductive health care fields. As health care reform is phased in over the next several years, NFPRHA will focus on: Strengthening the Title X program now and anticipating its future; Making Medicaid a priority and preparing family planning providers to care for a large newly insured population in danger of slipping through the cracks; and tackling issues that affect the future of service delivery, including preparing the family planning infrastructure for the systemic changes initiated by health reform. For over 40 years, NFPRHA members have shared a commitment to providing high-quality, federally funded family planning care - making them a critical component of the nation's public health safety net. Every day NFPRHA members help people act responsibly, stay healthy and plan for strong families.
