Senator Leahy Introduces The Dalai Lama At Middlebury College
On Saturday, October 13, the Dalai Lama spoke at Middlebury College, encouraging the crowd of nearly 3,000 attendees to find common ground with others and to practice compassion in the face of adversity. Senator Leahy, a longtime friend of the Dalai Lama and a champion of human rights the world over, introduced him as "a man of remarkable humility, patience, and perseverance."
