FLETC Seeking Reemployed Annuitants for Instructor Positions

October 08, 2008

The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is a unique inter-agency organization that prepares the next generation of law enforcement officers to meet the Nation’s most pressing law enforcement challenges. We arm Federal agents and officers from more than 80 Federal agencies with the skills, knowledge and professionalism they need to protect our country. We are looking for recently retired Federal law enforcement officers and agents to help us train the next generation of law enforcement professionals.

The FLETC has been granted approval to hire retired Federal employees with recent law enforcement officer criminal investigative experience and/or specialized skill sets to meet changing and expanding mission requirements in support of the instructor cadre. Retirees hired for these positions will receive their full salary and their annuity, retirees will not lose any of their retirement pay! This dual compensation waiver will not exceed December 31, 2011, but may be extended.

For more information regarding the benefits of the Reemployed Annuitant Program and how you can apply to take advantage of this opportunity to become part of the FLETC team, please go to http://www.fletc.gov/employment/reemployed-annuitant-program.html or call 912-267-2289.
