Make Donation a Way of Life

Illness and injury make transplants necessary. Donors make them possible.

  • Be an organ & tissue donor. Organs & tissue from about 1,900 deceased and 1,500 living donors enabled almost 6,800 transplants the first three months of this year.
  • Be a bone marrow or cord blood donor. Blood cells (from bone marrow, blood and cord blood) from living donors unrelated to their recipients have given 25,000 individuals a second chance at life over the past 20 years.
