October 5, 2012 - The United States filed a petition seeking en banc rehearing of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit's August 21, 2012 decision regarding EPA's Cross-State Air Pollution Rule.

June 4, 2012 - EPA released a new report that demonstrates the significant improvements in air quality achieved in 2010 under the CAIR and the ARP.

On May 10, 2012, EPA withdrew the Direct Final Revisions Rule. The Agency will take final action on the proposed revisions rule expeditiously.
