Telecommunications Services & Operations is now Enterprise Network Services (ENS). ENS plans, implements, manages, and maintains USDA Telecommunications Programs enterprise wide
.
ENS provides Working Capital fund activities and resource management for the Telecommunications Resource Management Staff (TRMS);
provides its customers with secure, robust, and scalable telecommunications
capabilities. (UTN);
manages configuration change control for the enterprise backbone
network and the architecture
for the Department (TIMG);
collaborates with USDA agency or mission area representatives
on telecommunications matters (TMACO);
and
operates the USDA enterprise backbone, which offers integrated
services for telecommunications operations nationwide, and
enhanced network support services
(Enterprise Network Services).
